Barilla Pasta Party on eve of 40th NYC Marathon

The sixth edition of the Barilla Pasta Party will take place this Saturday, October 31st, on the eve of the 40st edition of the New York City Marathon. The event will take place in Central Park, in the dedicated area around the Tavern on the Green restaurant, where over 50'000 dishes and 10'000 tons of pasta will be ready to be served.

A new Little Italy launches in Annandale, Sydney

Italy’s number one pasta, Barilla, has been cooking up a veritable storm in the lead up to the opening of Casa Barilla. This new culinary centre for all-things Italian will house the inaugural Barilla Cooking School along with the CIRA Cooking School, run by the Council of Italian Restaurants in Australia. Casa Barilla will fire up the burners, rattle the pots, "butta la pasta" (throw on the pasta) and swing open its doors on April 8, 2008 with a line up of events that will satiate even mamma's appetite! The venue will be fitted out with a customised SMEG kitchen featuring state-of-the-art equipment.
